Hop on over to Nevada Treasures Luxury RV Resort in Pahrump, NV for the Southwest Regional Rally. Four days of fun packed enjoyment. The theme for this years event is “Sock Hop”. Bring your best costumes and Saturday night will be judgement day with some great prizes for the best couple, best man and best woman. This years rally is being hosted by the Nevada Silver State Travelers and will be co-hosted by California CALWIT and Arizona Grand Canyon Winnies clubs. There will be a golf outing, bowling, line dancing, slot tournament, seminars, games ( the Brownie Trophy for bean bag baseball, currently held by Nevada, will be up for grabs) and, oh yes, lots of FOOD. If you plan on playing golf, we are planning on an early Wednesday tee time. Please indicate on your entry. If you plan on entry into the slot tournament, which will be held Thursday afternoon, we will need additional information for the casino to handle the entry. There will be a $10 entry fee with prizes being awarded for the best of the best. Contact Pam for the needs at psloan55@charter.net. Nevada Treasure's is a resort that few can duplicate and many envy. They have a workout room, 2 pools, hot tubs and a lot of space so you can just relax and soak up the sun. Their conference center has room for vendors to show their wares and plenty of seating for those very informative seminars that we are noted for. There are plans to give away lots of prizes as well as some raffle items. Bring your tow, as Death Valley is just a few miles away. There are also some local sights such as the winery and casino’s. Fees: This years cost will be $180 per rig and two people. Additional people will be $35. We have the capability to seat 200 people for dinner so get your entries in early. Entries that are received by March 1, 2012 will get first preference. There may be a waiting list after that date. The rally fees include four days camping, two catered dinners and two lunches.
