Join the Grand Canyon Winnies at our state rally at Saddle Mountain RV Park in Tonopah AZ. Tonopah is 53 miles west of downtown Phoenix. From Interstate 10, Exit 94 head south 0.75 miles on 411th Ave. and then head east 0.2 mile on Osborn Rd. to the Saddle Mountain entrance. All sites are back-in. Saddle Mountain has very good facilities as can be seen on their website www.saddlemountainrvpark.com. Mark your calendars to attend as this rally is held during one of the most favorable times of the year to experience great Arizona weather. This year our rally theme is Western Round-up. Plan on dressing in your favorite western garb and joining in the fun. Activities include Beanbag Baseball, a "Cavalcade of Games," Snake Toss, Wii and Bingo. In addition there will be a raffle, silent auction, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing. In addition, the annual GrandCanyonWinnies state meeting including election of officers will be held Saturday Oct. 18. Sunday morning we will have closing ceremonies. Rally fee is $125 per 2-person rig ($145 if received after September 14). Single person rig fee is $105 while the 3-person rig fee is $145. Rally fees include 3-nights of parking with full hook-ups. Meals include Friday and Saturday breakfasts and dinners (4-meals total). Sunday morning a continental breakfast will be provided. Early arrivals will receive the club rate of $22/night (tax included) for up to 7-days in advance of the rally. Early arrivals MUST make their reservation for the extra night(s) directly with Saddle Mountain RV Park (623-386-3892). When making your early arrival reservation advise Saddle Mountain that you are part of the Grand Canyon Winnies group. Those making early reservations directly with Saddle Mountain need to also inform Don Cowden (928-894-2334 or dmc713@netzero.net) that they will be arriving early. Those rigs that need special parking considerations due to special needs should inform Don Cowden at (928-894-2334 or dmc713@netzero.net) of their requirement.
